Is an MRI just as effective as CT?
I’ve been referred to get a CT scan suspected of having Crohn’s. I don’t really want the x-ray exposure and would rather an MRI. Is there a difference in these two scans in terms of what they can detect/find ? Or are they the same? If they are the same i would like to switch to have an MRI but was unsure if thats a good idea encase the MRI misses something?
