Overview of Corticosteroids
Corticosteroids (for example, prednisone, prednisolone, hydrocortisone, etc.) have been used for many years to treat patients with moderate to severe Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis and to treat patients who fail to respond to 5-ASA.
