Imodium AD versus Multi-symptom relief

The Imodium AD works like a charm for me and fairly quickly. I haven’t been finding them anywhere anymore though and don’t want to try the generic equivalent.

I did find Imodium multi-symptom relief which has the same ingredient as the AD plus anti gas medicine. It doesn’t work for me though.

You would think its the same thing I don’t get why it won’t work. Anyone with similar experience or having trouble finding AD?
