11yo New UC diagnosis- Urgency, Bloody stool every 2-3 hours, started infusions but only worked a month… frustrated parent :(

Hello, I am a new parent to UC. My 11-year-old was diagnosed with UC in January 2025, she was hospitalized for a week with IV steroids for 4 days then put on prednisone, mesalamine and prevacid. She needed 3 units of blood the month of January as she had bloody stools every 2-3 hours and she would become symptomatic when her hemoglobin dropped below 8. We started infliximab end of January and within a few days she was having normal stools, we got a second dose mid-February. March 8th…
