Glad to join you. Here’s my story.
I am a mother of 2 sons and live in Toronto, Canada. I work in the field of knowledge management in non profit organizations.
In my late teens, I was diagnosed after only a few weeks of symptoms because my baby sister’s smart paediatrician recognized that my stomach aches, diarrhea and sores on my ankles (which were Erythema nodosum) were IBD. I have always been grateful for that quick diagnosis and know it played a role in my ability to manage and live with Crohn’s all these years.
