Elevated liver enzymes

Ds has slightly elevated liver enzymes for a few years .
Thought to be an irritated liver- testing blood work too close to taking mtx.
Previous Rheumo stated just to make sure they went down and always take blood tests more than 48 hours after taking mtx.
Today bloodwork was 4 days afterwards and still slightly elevated
New Gi suggested a referral to hepatology .
More than 10 years on mtx .
Waiting for rheum to make a response on what to do about mtx .
