insurance wants to switch to Hadlima from Humira

my daughter has been on Humira for over 2 years, she is 9 now. doing well, but need to up the dosage from 20mg every other week to 40 mg every other week since her weight is different that what she started and her Humira levels.
The insurance sent meletter they want to change to biosimilar Hadlima. The doctor is going to send letter and all that support to stay on Humira, but I want to ask if anyone was in similar situation, what it takes to fight with insurance, how long it takes..I don’t…
