I’ve read this forum for 5 years but finally joined this evening so I could post something helpful (I hope). Since this is my first post, please let me know if it’s not in the correct thread.

My son was just released from the hospital after being Dr. Burt’s 6th patient to receive a cord blood transplant for Crohns disease. Although we know that healing is a long, slow process, we left the hospital with a sense of hope and optimism that hasn’t been a part of our lives for a long time…
