My IBD history
Hello, got an email about this forum, I’d never posted before and forgot about it but had registered. My story: I’ve had IBD probably my whole life. I’m 75 now. My aunt told me my Mom said I pooped a lot as a baby, LOL. always had to go 4-5 times a day until my 30s, Had multiple colonoscopies in my 30s & 40s. Was diagnosed with UC in mid 2000s and had a subtotal procto-collectomy ileostomy in 2008. Was OK with that until 2019 I was admitted to hospital with a small intestine blockage…
