I have had Crohn’s now for 30 years. In the latest scans and colonoscopy it was discovered that I have strictures. Consultant now talking about surgery to remove approximately 40cm of intestine including appendix and cecum. I’ve been resisting surgery for years but now wondering if this is the way forward.
