Treating hemorrhoids

I’ve had hemorrhoids for a few years. They occasionally bleed, bright red blood at the tail end of a bowel movement. How do you guys treat them? Doctors usually recommend mere “drink water and fiber”. I’ve had UC mild UC for 12 years. Thank you!
