Ibuprofen and broken ribs

Hey friends, it’s been a little bit since I’ve been on the forum.

I broke 4 ribs yesterday (slipped) and I’m breastfeeding a toddler under two 4-5x/day.

The doc at the hospital prescribed ibuprofen and robaxin (a muscle relaxer) and topical lidocaine. The doc picked this because of the breastfeeding, even though I mentioned it’s not great for Crohn’s. Hopefully I will only need to take 800mg of ibuprofen for a few days. However, I’m wondering if anyone found a solution for a situation like…
