Post op symptoms
Had an ileocolic resection 6 weeks ago. 50cm of small intestine removed including appendix, cecum and valve. My current symptoms are urgent diarrhea and bloating plus loads of wind! Has anyone on this forum had a similar operation and how long did it take to get back to “normal”? Surgeon and consultant are not being helpful at all at the moment. Now that diseased part of intestine has been removed, why do I still have diarrhea?
