Thiamine infusions

I just finished a 10 day course of iv thiamine. Apparently it’s given to everyone starting NG nutrition to avoid refeeding syndrome, although I had only stopped eating for a few days before treatment started.

Since I stopped it 3 days ago, I have had some strange mental symptoms. it almost feels like I’ve been taking strong opiates, although I haven’t had any in nearly a year. Light headedness, confusion and just feeling a bit spaced out. My eyesight is also a bit blurry, white specks…
