Immunotherapy for melanoma – possible impact on Crohn’s disease

I’m now in my early 70’s and was diagnosed with colonic Crohn’s 20years ago. I have been lucky with this disease.. it settled down over 4-5 years and has been largely quiescent on Sulfasalazine 1000mg BD.(including normal colonoscopies)
I have recently been diagnosed with stage 3 melanoma, and will probably be advised to have immune therapy, not surgery for the best results. Potential side effects include colitis. Has anyone had any experience with this particular problem?
